My husband has a TBI, SCI and Multiple Sclerosis due to military service. He was awarded 100% service connection along with the $60k housing adaption grant. Unfortunately the service officer said that it would take 3 years to get the paperwork done and that just because he has MS did not mean that he would get air conditioning in his home. Not only that but we have to get blue prints done approved by the city. I am very confused about this grant can anyone offer me some assistance. Does it really take 3 years to get it rolling and why do I need blue prints? I am very confused and need to get this resolved so if you can help please do....
