		<description>Thank you for shedding light on that most Universities are not prepared to handle veterans returning from war.  Veteran populations at Universities is going to continue to raise especially with the expansion of the G.I Bill.  Schools need to learn to meet the needs of this population.  I&#039;m so glad that VetsFirst is at the forefront of this discussion.

		<description>Terry Moakley’s article in Vet’s First concerning his initiating access changes at a college for the disabled was very interesting, but not a surprise. Having known Terry for many years, I know he has always been in the forefront with many access issues.
His work over the years has made life a lot easier for many wheelchair users.
He continues to be proactive and a strong advocate in many areas especially regarding accessibility for many.
