Veterans Trying to Get an Accurate Diagnosis

There are many veterans out there, particularly from the Persian Gulf War or Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, who have deployment-related health problems that they haven’t been able to get accurately diagnosed. There are so many in fact, that the VA has two centers dedicated to identification and treatment of “difficult to diagnose” and other deployment-related health concerns. These centers are located in East Orange, New Jersey and Washington, DC.

For more information, contact the VA’s War-Related Illness and Injury Study Center at 800-248-8005 or visit http://www.wri.med.va.gov/.
